וְלֹֽא־אָבָ֣ה דָוִ֗ד לְהָסִ֥יר אֵלָ֛יו אֶת־אֲר֥וֹן יְהוָ֖ה עַל־עִ֣יר דָּוִ֑ד וַיַּטֵּ֣הוּ דָוִ֔ד בֵּ֥ית עֹבֵֽד־אֱד֖וֹם הַגִּתִּֽי׃
Kaya ayaw ni David na ilipat sa kanya ang kaban ng Walang-Hanggan sa Lungsod ni David; sa halip ay inilihis ito ni David sa bahay ni Obed-edom na Geteo.

And David did not turn the ark to himself to the city of David, and he diverted it to the house of Oved-edom, the Gittite [(a Levite gatekeeper)].
